Strategic Health Partners, Inc. (SHP) is a management company that was formed in 1998 to selectively create joint venture long term-care pharmacies with multi-regional nursing home companies. The company provides expertise, management and cost containment services to a group of individual long-term care pharmacies known as Senior Care Pharmacy.
Strategic Health Partners was founded in 1998 by Larry Shipp and Norman Estes, two individuals with multiple years of experience in long-term care pharmacy management. In December of 2000, with the untimely passage of Mr. Shipp, his wife, Lynn Shipp assumed the role of President and CEO of Strategic Health Partners. Robert Beaty joined SHP’s management team in 2001 as a management/operations consultant and became Director of Business Development in August of 2002. The management team’s core goal is to provide quality patient care and return shareholder value.
Strategic Health Partners provides access to pharmacy resources and services that historically have only been available to large, independent institutional pharmacies. Through its group of multiple pharmacies known as Senior Care Pharmacy, a few of the specific advantages SHP provides include:
