Senior Care Pharmacy originated from a pharmacy previously called Northgate Services which was started in 1981. This first pharmacy was located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and today services over 6,000 long term care residents throughout Alabama.

The second pharmacy, Joplin, Missouri, opened in 1999 and services residents in Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, and Oklahoma.

Senior Care Pharmacy in Lakeland, Florida opened in 2002 to service the central part of Florida.

Westminster Senior Care Pharmacy in Orlando, Florida opened in 2007 to serve the Westminster Communities of Florida.

Senior Rx Care of Kansas and Senior Care Pharmacy of Indiana will both open in 2008.

With assistance and support from our management company, Strategic Health Partners, Senior Care Pharmacy will continue to expand into other states.

At Senior Care Pharmacy, our goal is to provide timely and accurate medications to the residents. Our philosophy is simple. If we deliver the right medication to the right resident at the right time, everyone is happier.

Caring for the elderly and special needs residents in the long-term care setting is an important job. Providing support and services to caregivers is also critical. Because most long-term care facilities do not have on-site pharmacies, one aspect of the resident's care that needs special attention is managing their medication program.
